LONDON DISTANCE MEET
Lindblom Makes Swedish Nationals.
Three swimmers from the London Borough of Redbridge attended the 800 & 1500m distance meet last weekend at Crystal Palace. Johanna Lindblom set an 8 sec PB in the 800m free to finish 2nd in her age group. Her time of 9min 55 seconds was also a Swedish national qualifying time for this event. The national championships will be held in Vasteras on 22nd July to 25th.Grace Wingrove set a 14 sec PB in the 1500m. Grace also set 100, 400 & 800 best times during the 1500 swim. Ciara Purcell also swam a great 1500m equalling her 800 & 1500m short course times which converted to huge best times in a 50m pool.
