Club Communications
Communications in a club with around 200 family members who swim in two different locations has always been a challenge and continues to be. Parent Information meetings are held periodically throughout the year for all squads and Learn to swim (from January 2007). All club members have the responsibility to do their part to improve communications.
Committee meetings are held monthly and key actions and information are posted on our website in the Club Info section.
Our Pool Coordinators sit in the reception area of both pools. These are good people to get to know if you are new to the club. The pool coordinator assists with registration and communication, co-ordinates some fundraisers at the pool level, and tries to answer questions for new members.
If you are like most swim families, you will still have many questions about the club. Please ask the pool coordinator, the coach or a committee member. Don't be shy. You have a right to have your questions answered.
Be sure to read our information bulletins on our notice boards situated in the spectator gallery in Fullwell Cross Pool and in the reception area at Ilford pool as well as posted on the Club website (www.lbrsc.org).
