The Executive
This group consists of the Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer (together "the Executive Officers of the Club"). The Executive manages the day to day running of the Club and all queries and information is sent to this group for directives and for passing information on to the Committee.

The Committee
This group consists of the Executive and up to eight elected members all of whom must be members of the Club. All Committee members must be not less than 18 years of age though the Committee may allow younger member(s) to attend their meetings without power to vote. Each Committee member has a role(s) defined by a job description:

If you wish to address the Committee, you must contact the Secretary two weeks prior to the meeting to be placed on the agenda.
London Borough of Redbridge Swimming Club AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Club shall be held each year on a date in June the date for the Annual General Meeting shall be fixed by the Committee. The purpose of the Annual General Meeting is to transact the following business:
- to receive the Chairman's report of the activities of the Club during the previous year;
- to receive and consider the accounts of the Club for the previous year and the report on the accounts of the independent examiner and the Treasurer's report as to the financial position of the Club;
- to remove and elect the independent examiner (who must not be a member of the Committee or a member of the family of a member of the Committee) or confirm that he remain in office
- to elect the Executive Officers and other members of the Committee;
- to decide on any resolution which may be duly submitted in accordance with Rule 9.3.
These meetings will be very informative to you as a member and we hope to see every one of you attend the meetings.
Policies
Every member of the club should know how your club functions and under which policies. On the Club and ASA websites, there is a complete set of policies and guidance's for the Club. You as a member are welcome to read these.
Minutes of Committee Meetings
After every Committee meeting, the minutes are recorded and a summary put on the web site. Again, you as a member have the right to request through the Secretary to read these minutes. We are sorry but we do not copy these or send them out.
Roles and Responsibilities
